You can't win with charity unless it's anonymous. I swear, this applies to countries and to individual people. Give someone a helping hand and pretty quickly things get ugly.

To hell with all of them. Lets stop sending ANY money and let em all rot in hell.

I mean literally. We are damned if we do and damned if we don't.

Try to give in a charitable sense, try to help people who you don't owe a damn thing, and get told "It's not enough"?

It's gotta be a conspiracy to enrich the drug companies! Yeah! Those rich fatcats!

God Forbid we actually apply the same standards to drugs we would send overseas to the ones we use ourselves. I guess it would be ok to ship cheap knock-off shit to third world victims because they aren't as important as us.

So we want to apply some standards to ensure the eficcacy and safety of the drugs we are going spend our hard earned on in a charitable effort to help people we owe nothing and there is something wrong with that?

You must remember, Help those who help themselves, if they cannot/will not help themselves then it will be wasted help (Or money in this case) They will just bitch and moan about not getting more help.

Also remember the UN is a bunch of incompetant fools who want their way to swindle and make money off everything.

Amazing how those who do the least complain the most. Uganda is an amazing story of how a country can effectively fight this epidemic and yet the other nations hate and despise them because they don't like being shown that monogomy and abstinance work. It's sad to realize how many millions will die because their leaders refuse to acknowledge what has been shown to work.
