Potential down side to this.

Valve goes "Uh-oh" and releases an unfinished HL-2 that's chock full of problems.

And I'd say Buliwyf is dead on. "On my p4 800Mhz with 256 meg of sdram and MX440 I have problems....."

HL2 is almost GOLD as well. Release will be in September.

This is my greatest fear. Even if they wait until the sept date I've heard (dunno exactly what day), I'm still afraird they'll pull a BFV and release it unfinished.......

I have a P4 2.6, 512MB PC-2700 RAM, Radeon 9800 Pro and SB Audigy Gamer, my Doom 3 won't play because I don't have it yet... *sobs* :help:

BFV was not released unfinished, it was released by a team that were not veterans. To them, it was finished.

Hmm, I should be able to run this game... Far Cry runs pretty good at most settings...

Kinda tired of all the "shoot the zombies/undead/weird mutants" games tho... you'd think they'd be able to think of a new gimmick by now...

So i'll probably dow........ errrr.... buy it

Well, they can't base iet on humans only because that'll send Lieberman into a furious rage over how video games supposedly are teaching young kids to kill, ignoring the fact that TV shows and movies play a bigger role in the scheme of things.
