With all due respect to the dissenters, topics like these are what a smoking-room is all about. This is the proverbial water-cooler. It's where we hang out and talk about what's on our minds, be it sports, smacktards, or politics. This is the general forum. If politics happen to be on a lot of minds now, then that's whats going to get talked about. This is better than a real conversation room because you don't have to read what you don't want to.

Back to the point Cavalierlwt made, I agree. Nobody wants to hear/read about the 10 banks that didn't get robbed today, they want the one that did. The news networks have taken this philosophy to the extreme, and rarely bother to flesh out there stories with 'boring' things like details.

BTW: that's a great picture deathBOB...good idea putting Tenneyson on a tank

Problem with this thread is the title: People can't see that this is a political thread unless they click it. (Well offcourse the Thread Starter name will give you a hint

). Please, if you post such thread, just make a fitting title, that will help alot of people.
