All of my life I thought Pearl Harbour (later 9/11) was the only attack on American soil.
That just makes me wonder more about what they're hiding from us.

The question of Japanese attacks on U.S. soil came up during my History Orals in college. Basically, they get 3 profs. from other schools to come in and they spend 40 minutes asking you questions about pretty much any part of history. Now I've studdied WWII since I was very young, and knew that the only two attacks were Pearl Harbor, and the Aleutian Islands off the coast of Alaska. But no, Professor guy wants to know about Jap balloon bombs...cost me points on the final grade.
One of my Profs did tell me later that he thought that was way too obscure of a question. Wish I"d had Fark back then
