Remember, the memory is listed at double (b/c it's DDR), so 337x2 =674, which given rounding errors and the like, is close enough to 680 spec speed.

And yeah, it might just be a fubar'd card. If you have similar issues on a new one, I'd suspect a voltage issue, although it is unlikely.....
