Admin abuse?

Folks have to remember that one of the criteria for choosing an admin is that they play a lot, hence they get to know people well. Jesus for example is a uber repeat offender. I have no trouble with him being temp-banned for that long.

Secondly, occasionally the full ban feature does not work for level 2's (and sometimes even for level 3's). Not sure what the problem is, but the admin bot accepts the full ban then one second later says 'Ban: 'Tard' Released' or some such thing and voila: 'Tard' comes back and continues on. Admins have standing orders to go ahead and temp-ban them into next year if they want to.

Third, admins get targeted by veteran tards. So I have no trouble with admins turning around and dealing more harshly/directly/faster with such people. I trust the admins at the Beach to know what they're doing.

Fourth, I made up a detailed post to the admins about the use of the !putteam feature. It is NOT to be used for putting people on teams. Admins that do this will lose their admin rights. I personally have a huge peeve about team-stacking. However, there are times when I've been doing testing on the server looking into various things and have put someone on a specific team so that we can figure some things out. I and the involved people do not actually play the game. We're usually off hiding somewhere trying to figure out how something is being done.

Fifth, no one is perfect, and admins are human. If anyone has cause for concern and doesn't feel comfortable talking to a specific admin about an issue, you can drop me a private message through the forums. Please keep in mind that often admins are reacting to events based on a lot of prior knowledge. Please also remember that the majority of admins share info in TeamSpeak. So pause before you think an admin has gone ballistic and is 'powertripping' and ask yourself if there's more to a story than whet you are seeing.

yes i banned that guy but not only for the name scripts like parrot said he had a list of wrong doings and had enough warmings....

I never wanted to make admins look bad. Thats just a little constructive criticism. U can ban people for 9999999999 seconds, that's no concern of mine. But the PM's u wrote disappointed me. We are clanmates dude, u can express that on another way. :mad:

This stuff about admin abuse allows a wide open list of opinions about what people consider as abuse of power or not, As far as I know putteam has been only used to make tards blocking on purpose stay as specting to realize there is something wrong with them at that moment, but that doesnt mean it hasn´t been used in other ways.
Voodoo has posted an example about someone being banned for 99xxx sec for tkilling an admin, I will add and example about something that happened sometiome ago where I was in radio room just writing a few words with keek and there was an axis guy just looking at the wall, no movement, then all of a sudden he started shooting when an allie appeared there and went short way to war room, he wasnt able to kill the allie guy, but was able to take out two axis that were there standing there and he started shooting me till death and gibbed me too with no reason (I must add that alllie wasnt there already when this tard started slaughtering us)

Well.
1.what can you expect from an admin seeing this and "feeling" this situation?

2. What was this guy thinking of when he started shooting us ?, Did he considered us as traitors to hitler because we didnt shoot the allie and just stood there looking at him?

3. Do I have to give him a cookie and tell him, ok newbie you didnt do it "GOOD" next time aim you mp40 just to enemies?.

if you have a prob w/ admins voodoo how about you take it up with them... and not post it here. You might be around 16 but i swear you act like you are 12 sometimes.

Cant we all just get along? I know a majority of the players out here, and some can be dicks, but come on...Is it to hard to play a clean game? If it is for some, the admins will deal with it, END STORY

I don't have any problems with admins. But IF I had problems with admins, that would be the right topic to post it. Or why did SkunX open this thread?

I can repeat what I posted:

And admins who are skulled and use !putteam their_name 1/2 aren't fair. Or if somebody tk's an admin, they get a ban for 999999 seconds, if somebody tk's a peon or regular they just get kicked or baned for 999 seconds.

Just little criticism, nothing I make admins look bad. And other people agreed with that, even Figo.

Btw, I've just seen good comments about admins, but how come there are 8 people who voted for no, he?

There was no need to post a PRIVATE MESSAGE from Xtreme... if he wanted everyone to know what he was saying to you then he would've said it to everyone. give your criticism to admins via private messaging man. No need to wash you dirty laundry in public.
