Playing on unknown maps

Postby cavalierlwt » Fri Jul 30, 2004 3:47 am

I kinda fun in weird way plaing on new maps (well, new to me, everyone knows their way around). I haven't been playing much of anything, lately had a chance to play ET and there's plenty of new maps. It reminds me being thrown in the middle of line dance: just trying to 'fit in'
Watch where every is running to , run with with them, shoot in the same direction they're shooting in , etc.
Just having no clue WTF you're doing kinda makes you feel like a newb all over again. Choosing a completely inappropriate weapon, getting lost while trying to find your way out of spawn point. No real clue what the objective is. made me want to change my name to Wolfplayer!

Yeah I get that whenevr I play on any of the maps that weren't in the original map packs. I still can't fathom out Market Garden, where the hell is the damn bridge?

tghe bridge is the axis rear spawn, next to the tower which is the allies ovjective.

It's a map people liekd to cheat using the spider web mines cheat(trip mines but the lines are like a spiderweb instead of 1 line).

Anyone played mp_theriver? I just got it about a week ago and I think it is really good. A very well made map.
