Postby MoJo » Sat Jul 17, 2004 4:15 pm

Have you lot seen the WolfPro Mod?

Ive seen some screenshots on a site ill just chek it out and get back to you on that. :)

Its a really good mod! It takes the cool guns from ET and transfers them into RTCW as well as other much cooler things which will take too long to explain...lol :)

Ill just post some screenshots and explain 'em :)

The mod is like a hybrid between OSP and Shrubmod
Here's what it will have to offer:

-New improved character skins for both Axis & Allies
-New intro music
-New voice chats
-New maps
-New graphics
-New server-side commands
-New objective features

The mod will have new voice chats for both Axis and Allies, including "Grenade!, "Die!", "Move in!", "Fire at will!", "Flank left!", "Flank right!", and more.

The new player skins include camoflauge for the Axis soldier, snow suits for Axis medics and engineers, and new faces for the Allies.

New graphics will include an less bold and better looking number set for the GUI health and ammo numbers.
A smaller player overlay, allowing more players to fit on it. Axis crosshair names are now red, and Allies are blue, as well as other graphical changes which haven't been finished yet.

All player classes can now drop their weapon and pick up another one within their class.
Medics and Engineers can pick up Stens.

New server-side commands allowing server admins to change the amount of ammo any player class starts with, as well as just about any weapon. The ability to disable panzerfausts or flamethrowers. Disabling the use of /kill if needed. Admins will also be able to lock teams to prevent other players from joining. Score keeping or even dropping weapons when you die can be disabled. Changing the amount of medic's needles or any player class's grenades. The ability to give binoculars to all player classes (Except medics). The ability to mute an entire team, or even disabling global chats altogether for matches/scrims. New voting commands are included for a few of these features.

Crosshair names are now shown in warmup to allow players to be able to know who goes where for strategy making.
Medics can revive players underwater, just like in Shrub, but the click noise is now gone.

New objective features include console logging when a player plants a dynamite at an objective as well as steals/returns a document objective.

When players are revived, a top-print message appears to let all players know.
When votes pass/fail, a centerprint message appears so that people don't go "What the fuck?" when a map changes, etc.

When players call votes, the top-print message displays which team they are on.
When players send a global text message, the team they are on is displayed with the message.

And you don't think people will exploit something else that you will whine about?

The whining irritates me more than the actual /kill hence "thank you god!" as getting rid of it would remove two birds with one stone.

It would also look funny when people tried to /kill but just stayed ther like a turkey and got masacred. If it was up to me I'd switch it on and off just to confuse people.

Hi guys,

I'm Ch!ck3n|NoX, the lead director of the WolfPro mod.
Thanks for posting about the mod on these forums, MoJo.

More information about the mod can be found at our forums at:

http://noxclan.blackenedhosting.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=303

We will not be copying anything over from ET, please don't think that.

The FG42 and other new elements of the mod are being taken from single player Return to Castle Wolfenstein, and will be balanced/perfected to fit multiplayer.

The mod will have multiple skin sets to choose from, about 6 new maps, new voice chats, new graphics, and a bunch of other cool things.

Basically we're going for a hybrid between OSP and Shrubmod with it's own new and unique features, that will hopefully gather people that play both mods.

The mod is going to be tournament based, as well as some fun features such as "Instagib", "Headshot Instagib", "Fun Mode", and some other features.

There will be a total of 3 new weapons introduced into multiplayer. They are:

-Snooper Rifle (Replacing the Mauser Rifle)
-FG42 (From RTCW Single Player)
-BAR - Browning Automatic Rifle (Brand new)

Tell me what you think, and thanks for posting about it here.

As of now, we plan to make the first beta release of Wolf Pro available to Windows/Linux only.

Mac release is expected but should come later on.
