Ram Upgrade Needed...

Postby Fingerbang » Fri Aug 06, 2004 2:29 pm

Hey guys, I have 512 MB DDR 400MHz SDRAM currently, and I am needing to upgrade to at least 1GB, maybe more. My computer runs BF just fine, but lags up when I run Team Speak Overlay. Does anyone know where I can find out what kind of Ram I need? Or, how much my computer can handle?

I have a DELL 8300 P4 2.6 GHz Computer, with a ATI 9600 Pro video Card.

i haven't used tso in a while because it made playing as infantry too choppy. if you want to know who's talking on teamspeak i'd actually suggest hooking up a cheap 2nd monitor.

no real need for 1.5gig, it's not really gonna help that much, but going to 1 gig would help (just in overall pc performance, as well as gaming).

I think 1 gig will be plenty. Do you have 1 512 sticks or 2 x 256? I think it would be best if you had just one 512 stick and added another 512 stick.
