I prefer a cat although I have both cat and dog. Cats are less needy and in this household I've got enough things that are needy....lol.....

I'm with Sir Loin on this one. Brisket of cock-a-poo with a nice fresh paste made from mustard, crushed almonds, roasted garlic, malt vinegar and lemons is hard to beat. Best served with chilled, (fresh-squeezed) lemonade.

Though in truth, Burmese black cat, rotissiered with maple-syrup is a sure winner as a side-dish at any large gathering. Serve with roasted walnuts and sprig of cinnamon basil.
