I live in NJ and haven't heard about this. I think im going to turn on the news now. Hopefully this will affect Kerry, since McGreevy is a Democrat.

He not only resigned and came out of the closet, he said he had an affair with a man and cheated on his wife. I think resigning was a good course of action. He jumped the bandwagon before anyone else could.

Why is it hilarious? Are you homophobic? Are you against a man admitting his wrongs (I don't call being gay wrong, but an affair is) when 90% of people can't even admit they lied about the smallest things?

I feel that him resigning was a bit pre-emptive.

Yea this is big new around my area. He didn't have to resign but did so just to save himself from a Clinton-type witch hunt.
Personally, I say good riddance. The fool kept raising taxes left and right around here.

So what was that thread before about Edwards and his ugly, fat wife and if he is cheating? Hmmm.. Well, if it is a party line, then who knows?..

The big problem, isnt that hes 'outta the closet' thats his buisness, the real scandal is who his affair was with. a certain Israeli national that nobody knew what his qualifications/job title were for the $100,000 per yr. job that Mcgreevey hired him for, tremendous pressure was put on the Gov. to oust him, which he did, now about 5-6 mths later this nice chap has the Gov in court on sexual harassment charges....and you thought California was entertaining?

I've got no problems with anybody in office that does whats in the best interest of the people... but that shit is just ludicrous... Savant needs to lay the smack down in NJ.
