Off topic, but don't go too far overboard - after all, we are watching...heh.

"I bet she gives great helmet!"

"Out of order? FUCK! Even in the future, nothing works!"

"You idiots! These are not them! You've captured their stunt doubles! "

:rotflmao:

Mel Brooks is the greatest.

Why hasn't he made any movies recently?

"Then one day I hear 'Reach for it, mister.' I spun around, and there I was standing face to face with a six year old kid. Well, I just laid down my guns and walked away. Little bastard shot me in the ass."

Blazing Saddles is a classic too :D

The auto-destruct button destroyed itself.

Gentlemen, you cannot fight in here, this is the war room!

i remember watchin sumthin on TV about Star Wars and ww2.. and durning a Ceremony in S.Ws was exactly the same as a Nazi Ceremony..i mean down to which way they were looking and down to the direction they stood and even their feet.. a few in the nazi photo stood on 2 steps..1 foot on each and they did that in S.Ws too..^_^

Yeah no kidding, every time i watch Jedi, i see the emperor fly in in his shuttle with all the storm troopers, commanders and emperor's gaurd are at attention, i think to myself "damn this is just like Nazi Germany...."

oh except for the part where they are in space, flying spacecraft, using blasters and "LIGHTSABERS" have all magical power called the force at their commands, use astromech droids, live in fear of big slimy monsters called Hutts... but yeah i can see where standing at attention like some real army did in our time could TOTALLY be a reflection on film. Bah, i bet the whole "stormtrooper" name is just a big coincidence.

Just a big shame that hitler didn't have a big black suit with cape and a entire Scuba suit attached to it.

Vader ruled by true ultiimate fear, Hitler ruled by boring people into submission. If Bush spoke everyday about how we were going to exterminate terrorists i'd want them all dead too.

The Empire is not a copy of Nazi Germany, it is symbolism. That means that it has elements that are similar to ways the Nazi's did things, i.e. a miltary state, absolute devotion to the ruler, no dissenting opinions, goose stepping minions, etc. The ceremonys are very reminiscent of the Nazi parades.
Oh, and Spaceballs is my all time favorite funny movie :)
