Hey guys - I just got home, and man, I gotta say that was the most fun I've had in a long time (yeah, I know, I need to get out more
).
Thanks to all - especially:
Sam for setting up the hotel and carting us around in the Mountain Slaver.
Tom for lunch and for tossing Ryan into the tub - that was hilarious
Charles (and Mrs.) for letting us hang out at your house and not giving me a weird look when I asked if you spoke Afrikaans
Jon for carting people around and for the excellent customer service when Timber pointed out the fact that we're missing a rack screw..
Buli for showing up and helping with logistics to the restaurant and the museum
All the rest of you smackers for showing up and having a great friggin time.
I'm not going to hog the spotlight and let things come out in their own good time.. but I leave you with this (Timber after Wairudo demonstrated how much of a dangerous weapon a Bible an actually be) :

Guys, I had a great time! Despite the hiccups (fires, screen doors, etc), it was definitely a blast. It was great to meet you all, too.
Here's a small preview of the festivities. Specifically, the hot tub...
Camel, Charles and MMmmGood in the hot tub:
I've got a really great one of Timber and Camel getting friendly, but I'll save that for later...

now the moral of the story is.......after the first drunk person walks into the screen door, the rest should take note. But did that happen? Nooooooo! Folic only bounced off the screen door. One of our other compadres actually walked into it so hard he not only knocked it off the track, he bent the damn door frame!!!

For the record, I was not drunk when I hit the door. Stone cold sober.
At least my misdeeds were quickly forgotten...
