Li v. Chan is a tough one...I think Chan can take him though. Li has great moves, but most of his stuff is wire work, while Jackie has shown that he can take a lot of physical punishment over his career.
Segal is a master of Aikido, which uses others momentum against them. He'd probably beet Norris without much trouble.

Bruce Lee > everyone else
Jet Li is about the fastest guy i've ever seen next to Bruce... that kick he gave Rene Russo in Lethal Weapon was so fast as to be almost impossibly so...
But then again, I've never seen someone with Chan's repetoire of moves... he uses everything from wing chun, taekwondo, karate, drunken boxing, various chinese animal styles... amazing amounts of variety... this would be a great matchup
Seagal would beat most people... altho he's old now too... gotta remember, he's like 6'3" and not small... Van Damme by comparison is only like 5'8" 185lbs...
Bruce Lee would beat any of these guys tho... he's just too fast and hits too hard. A very smart fighter as well.
If you wanna see something interesting some time, go rent "Iron and Silk". The chinese guy in that flick was an actual government assasin at one point in his life, and could do some amazing stuff. Things like driving nails with the back of his hand with one hit... knocking a single brick out of a brick wall... crazy shit... cool movie

mmm Id go with Chan if its the Drunk Master/Snake in Eagle Shadow age, but if we talking about now, Chans way to old, only in his prime could he have taken Jet Li. Remeber Jet Li movies tend to use camera tricks, Chan was the real deal until he started doing high budget US movies.
As a matter of style, Chan all the way.

So is Quentin Tarintino the director, producer, or what exactly does he have to do with that movie.
Hero has been out for 2 years now in china, go to your local chinatown, pick up the DVD for $8. Tarantino is only importing it under his name for North American theatres, he has nothing to do with how the movie is made, how it as written, the cast or absolutely anything at all!
The only reason why the studios even slapped his name on it is so that people of non-Asian descent in North America recognizes his name and therefore will pay full price to see it in theatres where for less than $10 they can own it on DVD already..

If I knew the movie was out in the first place I would see it, it looks bad ass. Ever see Fist of Legend? That was a kick ass movie.
Yeah Fist of Legend was awesome... Hero is very slow pace, it's not all action, there's a lot of storyline to get through, and the action scenes are not epic, they are often 1vs1 fights, compared to Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Hero is very different in terms of theme, style and characters. But, the fighting choreography is somewhat the same, plenty of wirework.

Yeah, Hero does look sweet.
I saw Hero 2 years ago in Taiwan. It's very flashy and beautifully photographed/coreographed.
There's more metaphor than substance, but it was engaging...even if the screen I was watching was cluttered with four different dialogues of sub-titles.
