attacks on clientside machines
I just was playing on ecgn#2 and someone tested a little diddy on me. 23-08-04 13:00 approx.
1) I was reasonably sure that PB picked up on this stuff, unless you have "rights."
2) I got your ip number and I even saved your file transmission for later disection, if need be.
3) I like to play here, but the next time you test out a little script on me, I will reduce your equipment to non-working individual components that will resist flashing even down to a low level format. I don't know who you are, but I have enough to drop your machine like a bad habit. True this server has some issues, but I would have thought silence would have settled you out. In short, I just want to play.
If I need to send said info to buliywuff or whoever is in charge and then have you removed from ecgn#2 PERMANENTLY, I apologize, but I simply will not tolerate attacks by people who haven't a clue.
I didn't return anything, as I am trying diplomatic channels.
Be nice and play, do not think you can get away with electronic warfare unless you want the same in return..

This doesn't make much sense from a security point of view. The fact that you're playing on the server doesn't mean you're more open to an attack, and that any attack will come from the server.
Unless you mean the security alert Norton Security often raises when you abruptly quit a BF1942 or BFV server and the server still tries to send you some packets.
