restoring download box, how?

Off topic, but don't go too far overboard - after all, we are watching...heh.

restoring download box, how?

When you download something, the little window comes up thats pick where it downloads too, I mistakenly unchecked the box that said appear everytime i try to download something.

so now it wont come up when i download something? anyone can help me please?? : )

try this open "my computer" then click on tools then select folder options. Next click on the fle types Tab, scroll down to HTML Document then click advanced. check the box that says confirm open after download.. that might work I remember it's something like that hope it works.

sorry I remember it was somthing similar to that maybe try a diffrent type of file to edit like the kind you are trying to download?? otherwise you might need to do some kind of registy modification

I think I had this problem awhile back. Say if the file you're downloading is has a file extension of .zip and it only has the same problem with that kind of file try selecting .zip in that menu and selecting the option. Might work - I don't know...
