Well put, Bulli...I think we've all come to expect such well-worded posts from you.

Like all Macs, it seems to take a while for new models to sink in. I still look at the original iMacs with a bit of trepidation. The previous model iMacs were a bit odd, too..but I think they seem a little more acceptable than this new iMac.

Still, Apple seems best at pushing the envelope in both style and computing. I'll admit I used to poke fun at Macs, but most of that was based on ignorance rather than first-hand experience (please frefer to Bulli's post for a more accurate reflection of the uninformed).

OS X changed all that, and since I purchased my first iBook in February of this year I've since aquired a G4 PowerMac and look forward to the day when I pony up for a PowerBook or a sweet dual-CPU G5 PowerMac.

I still like my Windows machines, but the Macs are a refreshing and effective alternative.

I like the look. When they're able to get more performance crammed in there, it may be something worth looking at
