Stop the madness with tk's

Postby Slaughter1 » Wed Sep 01, 2004 10:58 pm

is there any end to the endless, and I mean endless tk's on the beach server, it seems that the "accidental" tk's are way out of control, I vote to bring back the old system or turn on the feature that, when u hit a teammate with whatever gun it takes away health from the tk'er, or bleeder. Now since there is no system in place people play like this is still a no f.f. server, something needs to be checked and done please, please I ask the mighty gods something to be done about it.

I.E. played 6 games tonight was tk'ed about 90 times, and I'm sure I can go on and on about but I have to bring it to the attention of the mighty ecgn gods

"umm yeah lets grap a venom no limits in that"......and thats another story

Well for the most part they are accidents. For me I almost always tk with a grenade...not my trusty gun. If you see a team mate running with a nade....its almost likely that its primed and ready to go, so get the hell outta the way....dont block me or run in front of me. I usually wait for 4 clicks to release it...right before I release it some nimrod will jump in front of me on my team...doesnt make sense.

I did enjoy it though when ff was off, makes better use out of lt airstrikes...which are always fun IMO.

When there are tk's, the "complaint filing" system should be available. Beach definently needs that system like a lot of other servers have.

Complaints filling would be good.

And I thought was just me.

I agree on complaint filings or the good manners of at least saying "sorry".

Complaints are good, lower splash damage would also curb those nade tks a little as it would mean you wouldn't die because a team mates throws a nade on the other side of the room.

True- that OR a traffic cop at the door to let you out so you don't die along with the milling hords in that same room.

Cos 32 lts per team would lead to a well balanced game without any tks?.

come one you rookies, if you play at least 7-9 rounds a night and you get that many tk's, I don't get mad I just wonder the stupidity some players play at, ummm yeah let me throw a nade or prime a nade right be-4 I get to the door, not caring and not wondering what is behind or be-4 that door

Affirmative:

Go compare 24/7 Beach to H. Penguin. Nothing against those players- but there seems to be a different level of playability or should I say style.

Rarely have I ever seen a group of players rock and roll [who are just decent random players- not part of a clan] on the upper bunker [key to the beach defense, in my opinion] or where the Allies just push the Axis back to the WR like on 24/7 Beach

I would rather "game" using teamwork and support skills along with whatever class I am playing ie. medic -eng-sold-lt -

Yes TKs are going to happen. I do far more damage than what I should.

I never played deathmatchs in Quake or Doom but isn't that the big overall concept that seperates all those games? Team play vs. pseudo team and / or kill all?

I have enjoyed 24/7 and I would hate to see it be a frag-fest.
