Hello,

I'm having a bit of a problem here... My 1337 AMD64 wont play old games. I dont know what to do. I cant play RTCW anymore. The coding must be all fucked up in this game. Everytime i load the game it just crashes. It must be the coding.

Any suggestions?

You should first create a 1gb ram disk. Then reboot. Then snap your gfx card in half and put half in the agp slot and the other half in the closest PCI slot for cheap SLI technology. After you do that stop at your chemical shop and get some liquid nitrogen so your machine will run cooled. pour it on the cpu and wait 1 minute then turn it on. You should be able to play QBasic games with no problem after these upgrades. gl hf. kthxbye

Ticks, you have the same problem too? How did you fix it? Or do you not know how to use your 1337 rig properly either.

Good lord, you shouldn't have to reformat. First check your version of DX. Make sure you're running DX9. Are you running SP2 on XP? Roll back to SP1. SP2 is real buggy. If you don't believe me, do a search on google.

next, try to go to the wolfmp executable, right click on it, properties, compatability tab, and try to run it in Windows 2000 environment just for the hell of it.

Also make sure you dont have a conflict in your firewall settings. If all those fail, try to re-install wolf, and check Activision's website for patches if you have an older installation of Wolfenstein.

If you still have problems after all of that, let me know.
