Off topic, but don't go too far overboard - after all, we are watching...heh.

1. mousepads are huge.....those who say you can use your desk have shitty mice :P

2. You need a mousepad, even if your desk is non-glass, b/c any reflective surface will f up an optical mouse

3. I recently bought a ratpad GS (http://www.svc.com), and wow.....this thing is inredible......just crazy fast....

A good optical mouse shouldn't need a mouse pad.

I got my func pad like last spring and loved it ever since. Smooth(it has 2 sides one is a little rougher then the other) and it's pretty big. I haven't had a problem with it yet. :D

I chose this pad for size, thin-ness and surface.

Xtreme mega mat

I also chose some anti friction tape for the feet.

Xtracpad eels

I prefer a mouse pad because your mouse doesn't grab all the crap that can build up on a desk. Not to mention if you buy the right products you can significantly inprove your game and also have a smoother and better gaming experience.

I'll let ya know how it all performs.

It's rare but some folks do like the trackballs.

I use a non-cloth Dell mouse pad.

Small area and smooth.

Great performance and seems to give me pretty good results.

I have a Dell mousepad and still kick ass. But then again, if you give me one of those little buttons in the middle of a laptop I would still kick ass.

If by fps you mean first person shooter meaning BF 1942, then yes, I do. If you want to question how much I kick ass, then you are one of the few people I give that right to.
