World Cup of Hockey

Postby CodeRed68 » Tue Sep 14, 2004 10:16 am

Had to bump this from the locked thread...
quote from Agent-commando:
"So, who's cheering for Canada in the WCH 2004 tomorrow? Go Canada! Kind of sad that it wasn't like a USA versus Canada final, those Fins wanted it more than ya yanks eh? "

I will be rooting for Canada. GO North America!
We do share the same continent, after all.

Canada all the way! Gretzky is a great GM and this will probably be the last hockey we see for a while :(

Well sorry my friends up north. I am in the shithouse with the Cndns that live here, but I think the Finns will win.

Regardless- Sad that this will be the culmanation of TV hockey for a while.

But my boy will be my hockey star this year.

are you kidding? Why would you want a European team to beat a North American team? And yes, the US was eliminated last week....

Go Canada Go!

Tonight... is the night of nights..:D

This game is gonna be huge, because like all ya'll said, it will be the big hockey game for the next little while. And also, team Canada has been really strong in this tournament and they've been undefeated. This win would be a great follow up to the win at the past winter Olympics.

Go Canada Go!

let's hope that there is NHL hockey in a few weeks...if not, then tonight's game may be the last good one we see in a while!
