Please watch. Is there anything I did wrong? I mean, of course I have a couple of accidental tks in there, but other than that what did I do? I got kicked for spamming in Team_say. But the only thing I have there is "Respawning Medic- Did you not get the Memo".

to watch demos you save them to osp demo folder and watch it through a osp demo viewer right? is there any other way?

I don't think you did anything wrong. There are other people that play there as well that have a saying or two after they respawn or kill. I've never seen them get banned. That was the most ridiculous ban I've ever seen. Keep 'em coming should be the motto of the year.

I just watched through all of Mike's demo. I only saw him use one of his "Memo" binds four times. Now, I might have miscounted, but I don't think I missed that much. This demo I would say ran around 20 minutes. This cannot be considered spamming. Keek & Sav - I respect you guys - but you do need to be fair about this.

I watched it...an explanation would be nice. 4 lines of text in 15 minutes, can hardly be considered spam (I didn't count myself, but it was very infrequent, only when he changed classes). It is not repeated many times in a short time span, and doesn't say anything offensive.

It seems to me that Slaughter uses his "Thats a present from Slaughter" bind quite a bit more, and his is a "rub it in" line. Not an attack on you, Slaughter...I don't mind your bind one bit. But I don't get why Mike's class change bind is a banable offense. I simply don't see how the occasional line of non-offensive text can be so irritating and annoying that it would warrent a ban.

Keek says to Star something to the effect of "dont offer your opinion until you learn all the facts" (not exact wording, but pretty close). Well, it looks like several of us are interested in the facts now.

My dam siesmovision keeps saying missing files reinstall program. to bad its always a pleasure to watch Mike play.

Do you guys really believe mike got banned for spamming? Or the countless times he was asked not to?
He didnt get banned for the use of auto-push either or even the countless times he was caught/asked/warned not to have it on after the wall jump either. (in hind site way to much slack was cut, sorry for that)

Most likely the COLLECTIVE day after day nonsense is what led up to this.

Did everyone forget how Mike bombed the hell outta the server to the point of crashing it, needing intervention by the owners?

The ban was to force him HERE, he skirted a temp ban by disconnecting/renaming.

He chose the I didnt do anything/whatever path
He was allowed back after the banned at the firewall incident knowing/ agreeing to respect the server and play a squeeky clean game, in the beginning that was the case.

And me dropping by a TS server that happened to have Mike in it, trying different things to get back in. If only you could have found that "other"CD key Mike. yes you heard correct, I got to talk to Mike, Where I stated that we arent here to bust balls and why didnt you just stop? as we did ingame Mike over and over and over again.

this whole spam issue is moot, and most of the time ignored, but Mikes bind/binds takes up dam near 2 lines of text, and was annoying OTHER players that dont want to see it, again Mike why not stop when asked? Slaugter has 1 that is almost to the annoying point as well. Keeks statement of dont jump to conclusions before you know the facts speaks for itself.

Of course some will see no logic in this post, but then they would be the same shmoes that will start a thread complaining that admins do nothing, lets see where this goes next

A side note, Keek is drafting a rules thread similar to the one they have at the BF games/forums, and after approval by MMmmgood will be posted. hopefully this will clear up some hazy issues

dunno, dont know half of u guys, all i know is that i play a few times a week, and never had a problem? the only people i have even spoken to is parrot, beo and keek .. for a brief moment. i get on and play with no hassles, most of the time i bitch about my shitty vid card and have fun. i don't care to see who is what class and who is changing to what.. who cares? but at the same time it doesnt bother me. it seems people who are "clanners" like mike seems to be, its prolly a habit for them to do that. just like cigarettes to a smoker.. nothing wrong with it. its a GAME for hecks sake.. justa a game..
