Help Please

Anyone know how to get rid of an old CD-Key? We now have 3 CD-keys, one for each of our computers, but everytime the new one is entered it doesn't keep it. Is it in a file somewhere that it has to be changed, or does the game have to be reinstalled with the new key. Thanks in advance for the help.

if each ahs its own, then all you should have to do is enter the 'new ' cd key and verify it. close the game and start it again the click options and click enter cd key and see if its there.

We've tried that and the whole Key changes. I know the last 2 numbers disappear for security reasons but the key that is shown no way resembles any of the keys that were entered. Thanks for the reply Geist.

You know that all this banning was done because my three year old son got on and started team killing because he dosen't Know the diffrence. Again we are sorry and won't allow the kids back on this server. The Medic@War is Arkaine's husband but when I leave the PC and one of the kids goes up and starts playing then they may kill there own team.. Again he is only three. What do we have to do to get Arkaine back on this server??? She misses Playing

Figo.... do you keep track of people on the server who tk and bleed? Do you keep track of them despite name changes? No, I didn't think so. I do. That way I have a history I can go back on to see if someone is a repeat tard performer or if it's someone just 'having a bad day' and deal with it accordingly. Both trooper and the Medic@War have been given temp-bans for bleeding/tk'ing in the past.

If someone has developed a history or tk'ing/bleeding, then the admins have to respond with stronger temp-bans or finally bans. That's as fair as we can be about it. Trust me, it's a pain in the ass for us to keep 'history logs' on people. It consumes a lot of our time. But you know what? It's a fair system. And I like being fair.

Roflamo, when I was playing here, yes, I kept track those players and sure more than you; and I didn´t need stats or other systems (cdkey, guid...) to known them. As allways you think so much about me (ServerCrasher, Docwhore, Pointwhore....).

"History"..." have a bad day"...blah blah...as I said, I only see players paying their errors; admins, not. And more sad see how they say sorry in forum, but admins haven´t the responsibility/decency to do the same when they fail...oh, I´m lying, admins do a good job.

Also I have an "history log" on some "resposible" people.

However, i guess its to the point where you have to A: wait for an apology (which you'll never get)

or B: You decide to show up and start pwning some noobz with that panzer you love to use. But of course that makes you seem like you're weak willed and we can't have that now can we?

Figo, this really isnt my battle, nor do I have anythign against you...but why the posts like this? Do you honsetly believe youre getting anywhere or winning any battles (if any exist)? As far as Im concerned youre a good player, I remember you wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy back in the day, but all this bickering is getting us nowhere.

We all know you can play a clean game, so just do it and have a bit of fun. If you have true beef with the admins or abuse of power, ignore it because you know nothing you say will change anything. MMmmGood isnt going to come in here and say "by golly, Figo is right", and take Keek and Savant's power and all other admin power away. If youre not gonna come play on the server, then why keep throwing stones here?

This is what I definately did not want to happen, another admin abuse thread. Unfortunately when my husband saw I was upset (which by the way I'm blaming on lack of sleep and PMS) he got angry and tried to jump to my defense. I'm of the age where I was taught to respect those that have certain level of authority and if a disagreement occurs it should be done in private which is why I was PM'ing Keek rather than jumping all over the forum.

We have found the offending CD-key which is shared I guess by many, on my sons computer. Ironically his was the only game that was bought brand new, not played before as the other 2 are.

I've deleted and reinstalled all 3 games with 3 different keys but it still says I'm banned because of a shared key. I've been told only the 1 key has been permanently banned but it must be screwing up the others somehow.

I think the admin does a good job keeping a 63 slot server fun to play in. When I entered any game I always checked to see if an admin was playing. My opinion hasn't changed
even tho a decision has been made that negatively affects me.

I'm sure it seems very silly to a lot of you that a 36 year old mother cares so much about a stupid game but in the very limited spare time I have it is what I enjoy doing.
