Not that i dont like lookin at chickies with feder work

Opps i see that he was able to loose the first easy 400 lbs by diet and exersice prior to the 41 he lost at this point with the surgery.

I'm just sick of everyone at work feeling "great" cause they got surgery. What happened to the good old days of barfing?

Me too. It took me a big scare too lose lots of weight. I one time weighed 300lbs and Dr told me to change my ways or die very young. Didnt believe him until i took a trip to hospital after playing basketball for 10 minutes cause my body couldnt handle the pressure of all that fat moving around so harshly. Luckily it was nothing serious but i lost 70lbs since then. The worst part is buying new clothes. It feels great to get out of the XXXL range and go back to L but man its expensive.

Im sure the BIG guy had only one choice. He is too big to exercise. Even after losing 420 lbs, he is too big to exercise. Being that big and having diabetes, a gastric bypass is your only choice. Im curious to see if the bypass got rid of his diabetes.

iam a diabetic. Gastric bypass surgery does not get rid of ur diabetes. Diabetes is a condition that affects ur insulin levels and ur bodies ability to convert sugars to energy. Gastric bypass only helps it (in a big way) by making u eat less carbs. It can also be dangerous because if ur blood sugar level goes too low u can go into shock and can possibly slip into a coma. But its not a cure. a sensible diet, exercise, and good medication is the only proven treatment for diabetes.

What is the story behind that poor guy? Surely its some genetic problems, not just eating too many value meals.
