Could u imagine living with out pain. These people can. Saw an article in People magazine about a little girl. So i looked for website about the medical condition. Kinda makes me feel better when i accidentally bite my tongue.

Eh, if you think about it that would really suck.

Most people with that condition die of infections, etc.

For example, if you scrape your arm against something and dont feel it, and it gets infected, you dont know about it.

You can break your ankle on something and not even know its broken, burn your hand on the stove, etc.

They took the genes for stress out of mice and they only lived about a third as long as mice with the stress genes, because without stress you don't recignize danger and you go do stupid things, like jumping off a cliff.
