Off topic, but don't go too far overboard - after all, we are watching...heh.

Just when I thought I wasn't able to go, my brother-in-law just took me!

Be patient Jeffro, in a couple of years they will let you. In the meantime, stock up on beads.

:D

Surprisingly, I went in the last two hours of the celebration, chacal and it was nuts! Drunk people everywhere and plenty of camera phone pics (none I can post on the forums though ;) )

I went to New Orleans for Cisco Networkers last year. And, while it wasn't Mardi Gras, it was one helluva party. I rank it up there with Las Vegas at the top of my party list (except NO's a lot more humid and smelly...). Given the chance, I'd go back in a second... Bourbon Street Blues Club is the bomb!
Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he'll sit in the boat and drink beer all day...

Two strings of purple beads and one string of green beads. All three were of the same make, same size same length, just different colors.

If anyone happens to see the "lot rat" who stole them please PM me.

I would have gone to a Mardi Gras parade they had here in Colorado with my girlfriend yesterday to show her what one is like... but then I remembered that they have no fucking clue how to do it here in the Rockies.

Was there Sat night thru Sun morning. Not as wild as I expected, but still great times.

I stole some guy's beads... but then, he shouldn't have been dangling them from that balcony. hehe sucker

Had to haggle with the chick who wanted them before she paid the dues. Like I was just going to give them to her out of generosity.

Glad to say I've been there, done that.
