Been there, done that, Shockwave. When it's all over and you graduate you'll be a better man than all those candy asses that got everything handed to them on a silver plate.

Yeah, I wish I were a candy ass too, but this what I say to make us both feel better! :)

Monday, bloody monday. No hangover, but alittle hungry, going to get some thai style chicken friend soon.

GG. There was a riot squad in boston afterwards. Two people where arrested, nothing much.

The simpsons was not as good as expected. American dad was pretty funny. The same as family guy, just more of a in your face, don't give a shit attitude, more or less.

The fish is pretty......neurotic, and the jack in the box guy was awesome.

Yes its that time agian, change's in tech/ tv, no nhl.

I need to confess I’m a big Eagles fan. Aargh ,so where do I start?

The Pats committed a few less mistakes than the birds, and deserved to win. That clock management on the last drive is giving me nightmares. McNabb still goes through stretches where his accuracy is off, and his throws sail. Unfortunately, yesterday was one of those days. It's a little harsh to say he's not a big game quarterback, since he does have a winning record in the playoffs, and for some of those wins he was basically the whole offense.

The strength of the Patriots is their coaching. Even the rookie cornerback had a knack for doing enough clutching and grabbing to prevent the receiver from making a catch, but not enough for a flag (for most receivers anyway). And Brady has mastered the ability to look off defenders. There are a lot of little thing that they do which is a tribute to Beelicheck and the Pats coaches.

After saying this, however, I still think the game was there for the Eagles to win. I know when McNabb goes through a bad stretch, the coaches try to get him to take his time more and go slower. Problem was, he was doing this right when they had very little time on the clock. They needed to go to the hurry up, but didn’t. Those last five minutes were real painful!

There can’t be enough said about Terrell Owens. Yes, he is a circus act at times, but the guy is a player. He played in six weeks with an injury that is suppose to take 10-12 weeks to completely heal. It’s too bad he wasn’t at 100 percent; he could have done much better than he did. The Patriots defensive pass coverages hinges a lot on the defensive backs getting physical with the receivers. Their system works like a charm against a team like the Colts. However, if there is one receiver in the game that their style of play would not be good for, it would be T.O. The guy can fight through the bumps and clutching that would throw off the other guys. If T.O. was at 100%, it would be interesting if the Pats would have still put everybody in the box like they did in the first part of the game.

And Freddie Mitchell, what a guy. His mouth made him a big national presence. He was almost totally shut down. Thing is that happens just about every game (taking nothing away from the Patriots). The guy is a free agent this year. See ya Freddie, don’t let the door hit you in the @ss.

The defense had it moments. Trotter played well, as did others. There were two main mistakes they made: 1) the defensive lineman were not rotated as they normally would have during a regular season game. Now, I know that the prevalent “There is no tomorrow” type attitude was prevalent, but if they would have handled the rotation a bit better, the Pats would not have had the success running the ball like they did on some of the drives in the second half. 2) the Eagles tipped off their blitzes too early. Yes, they fell victim to Brady’s hard cadence, but they should have been more disciplined than that!

In closing, I have to mention something about all the hype all week. I was so sick and tired of hearing how the all-mighty Patriots were just going to run away with the game, that the real Super Bowl was played between the Pats and Steelers, and the Eagles shouldn’t bother showing up for Sunday. The reason for this belief was that the AFC was so dominant over the NFC (which they were). But, the Eagles were sold short the entire time. Here is a tip: the Eagles are much better than any other NFC team. And, yes, they do belong on the same field as the Patriots. If McNabb could have had even a little better day, well nevernmind …

I did the same thing, but was lambasted by someone for doing it. Someone with way more time than me on his hands, apparently...
