A guy I went to Devry with showed me an auction that he was hosting on Ebay. He was big time into everquest and he had killed a guy the night before and took his shield and sword.

But his shield and sword were better so he sold the one he took from the guy he killed, he ended up getting like $300 for them!!! I was like WTF????

Holy crap! $880 million a year in secondary sales. I guess if you spent enough time developing a trade in one of these games, screw selling the stuff ingame. Get on ebay!
