I didn't get the name of the person who did it, but I got banned for what I feel is an obscene amount of time for no reason. I shot a teammate twice, NOT killing him, after he harassed me for several minutes (pushing me around as I'm trying to line up shots, throwing knives into me and costing me health). I'm guessing this person was an admin because seconds after I fired the shots I was kicked and banned for a week.
I've been playing on this server for over a year now. Is this how loyal users are going to be treated?
I've talked to admins on this server before and they have all seemed very fair and nice people. This person was the exception. I think this person is/was on a power trip and just wanted to see if he/she could aggrivate me and get me to react. As soon as I did, I get kicked/banned.
Unlike some of the players on these games, I'm not some little kid who can't control their temper in these games. I'm 32 years old and I really like playing RTCW with you folks. If you log server activity, take a look at it and see who did this. I would seriously reconsider who I allowed to be admins.

Draven --

I'm not going to comment specifically on what happened to you since I wasn't there, I will say your story illustrates an important point: If someone is harassing or bleeding you, send a private message to an admin. If you retaliate, that may be all we see, we'll assume you're the aggressor and will !kick or !ban you.

Bleeding is not acceptable behavior, regardless of the circumstances.

Also note, Draven, there's a message board here specifically for responding to bans. If you post there, the Admin who banned you should respond and perhaps the ban can be lifted.

It seems to me that if they were shoving you and harrassing you, you must have been either blocking a doorway or the ladder. In that case read the text and pay attention to what is being said because people may be trying to tell you something...

I can't reiterate enough that if there's a problem, send one of us a private message. I am always willing to drop into spec and watch someone, if it will allow everyone else to chill out and enjoy the game.
