Brothers In Arms-Best SP Ever Made
I got Brothers In Arms today, (preordered) and it is the best single player i have ever played. Yes, better than CoD and Return to Castle Wolfenstein. I've attached screenshots, as i have made it throguh about 6 missions, and MP is excellent as well. Its not at a rambo type game, but it is extremely realistic and %99 historically accurate. (Call signs used to locate friendly troops "Thuder" Replied "Lightning" is an example which was actually used in Dday. Ubisoft and Gearbox teamed up to make an extroadinary game that in my opinion should win game of the year, unless something revolutionary comes out. I just hope this game doesn't fall under the radar and people buy it. If you like CoD, Wolf or BF1942, i strongly recommend you getting this game.

These screenshots were taken with the window at half size so i could paste them in irfanview much quicker. I would also like to add, i havea 2.4 Intel 800FSB, 512DDR at 222mhz, 20gb hard drive, nvidia 4200ti 128mb. Intel mobo 800FSB hyperthreaded. No sound card, and the game runs %100 smooth, no lag or choppiness in either SP or MP. Game is excellent.

Dead Kraut, my squad actually killed him as i gave him the order to attack while i layed down supressing fire..which is indicated by a small pie chart above german fixed positions.

More like, lay surpressing fire, don't step out in the opening or your dead. So, neither...its like CoD, but you actually command the guys around you, and it feels like your really in the game, not like wolf where you can rambo or Cod where you kill a million guys. Every mission you do is historically accurate, and aimed at taking out fixed defenses.

After i took at a mortar position we made it to Utah beach and the Infantry landed. This was actualluy a cut scene were me and 5 of my squad guys were overlooking the beach from a ridge, and the squad guys were talking about their day.

I forgot to mention the enemy AI and friendly AI in this game are better than any other. If you command someone to lay surpressing fire or to move to a certain place, they wont just stand where you command them to move, they find cover, and pop up and down to lay supressing fire so they dont get hit, and if you step out in the open, they will immeaditly yell "Sarge get down, and instantly pop up to lay any surpessing fire down that they can. Also shooting is hella realistic...its not point the gun shooti and kill, the germans will pop up for a second to fire if you have surpressing fire on them, and even if you do shoot them with the iron sight on them, it most likely wont hit them the first few shots. Also when your aiming your gun isn't completey steady to add a real realistic touch.
The last thing i love about the game, if any gun particlularly the MG42s and automatic weapons hit the ground, hay, wood or anything, dirt or debris will fly off. Especially MGs will pin you down and diry will go everwhere and impare your vision a little bit.

This game blows away the Medal of Honor series, Call of Duty, etc. I've played the Xbox version and the realism is amazing. Authentic military tactics are used and if you try to play Rambo as in previous WWII fps' you'll be dead in no time. Ordering your squad around is quick and easy. The AI is extremely smart, some of the best AI I've ever seen in a game. When you throw a grenade at the enemy, they'll pick it up and throw it back but if you have them suppressed they'll scramble out from cover giving you and your squad an opportunity to mow them down. The sound is also top-notch, great use of Dolby Digital sound. During fire-fights you can hear the fear and urgency in your squads voices and also the German soldiers yelling out commands trying to counter your every move. The language can get bad at times but it captures the realism and nature of war. The use of iron sights (as you can see in the pic Conscious posted) instead of crosshairs gives you the feeling of actually shooting a rifle. I can go on and on but i need to get some sleep, strongly recommend this game.

looks like a identical copy of Call of Duty. Same weapons, same look, same way of playing.
But if BiA is better, I might have to give it a try.
Same weapons? It is WW2, not much to choose from.
Same look? Still is WW2, still has that same look for a reason.
Same way fo playing? Completely different. CoD is Rambo game play.
