Your average hockey post

I've only been playing hockey for a few weeks now but love it.

I was wondering about farm teams that might be in CO, I know CO's is in Hershey. Al, take it away.

Farm team's in Colorado?
I believe there are none. The closest probably are the Utah Grizzlies (Dallas' farm team I do believe) this based on my great USA geography

So the only hockey I can see now is AF (actually they're done I believe) and CC? meh... well at least CC's doing good, I play hockey with them.

Actually the Avalanche and the Hershey Bears just ended thier affiliation, or agreed to at least, at the end of this season.
I read that Colorado is looking for a more local team to make the commute easier with thier minor league counterpart. Maybe the Colorado Eagles? Based in Loveland?

I told you this in the other thread :)
The Avs and the Bears have their agreement run out after this season. ESPN was reporting that the Eagles and the Avs could sign an agreement to make them their farm team franchise. THat's really the only rumour they've got going on right now.

Didn't they get in a massive brawl with another team a few months ago? And like everyone got thrown out? I seem to remember some box score with a huge number of penalties in the last 2 minutes of a Phantom's game
