Hell yeah, I think it was against the flames or senetars farm team. I have about 400 hockey fight vids on my computer, and I have that brawl in there too...

My team, the Avs, only have one United States player on the team... the rest are from the USSR, Sweden, Finland, and a handful of Canadian players. How many US Hockey players are there actually in the NHL?

in the early 70's, only 2% of nhl players were american.
In the 80's, it jumped to 15%, and 18% in the 90's. I would assume it has probably leveled off, don't think it is 20% yet..

I went to the first Phantoms home game this year. They had a few Flyers playing for them so it was really no contest. This kid from NE philly scored a goal in front of his whole family so that was cool. It was a good time except they cater to families and small children with low ticket prices and games and silly prizes and promotions so there were about 50 kids in this suite I was in and they were screaming at the camera man trying to get on the arena vision. Then, during a stop in play, they played the theme song from spongebob squarepants. I think I walked out of there with blood dripping out of my ears. We went to get some food at intermission and flyers coach ken hitchcock was in the hallway with paul holmgren signing autographs. he clearly wasn't busy. does anyone else think he looks like captain kangaroo or are all you guys to young to remember that guy?

yes.. he looks exactly like Capt. Kangaroo. LOL ! I never thought about that.
:)

Phantoms look good this year.. They beat Portland 5-0 last Sunday. 3 fights in the game. Gratton and Robitaille went at it 2 times.
That would be.. Josh Gratton and Louis Robitaille !

It's cool when they show their games at the Center on CSN and they're in HD. it's been tough not going to games this year. I don't play hockey so i have to get my fix from attending games and catching them on tv. without the stanley cup finals this year, i'm going to be tortured by the beast that is the NBA Playoffs and the phillies losing 40 games before July.
