NNC (now Nnc?, I guess) different from the {NNC} clan that used to play on ECGN Beach a couple years ago, is mostly made up of European players. It was started by a guy named ArchAngel. I was the second member. Most of the other original members were regulars on Jolt's now-defunct public beach server. Other regulars on ECGN Beach that used to be in NNC include =TAO=Stiiv and =TAO=SplatCat. I think we had close to 20 or 30 members at the peak. It was actually a very successful clan -- we scrimed, had a great web site, rented servers, etc.
NNC was always mostly European and British players, however, and for whatever reason that lead to a lot of tension between them and those of us in the U.S. Eventually, things sort of fell apart and the three of us left.
The clan is still around, and I think still doing pretty well, although the split left a bitter enough taste in my mouth that I don't really talk to anyone there anymore. There are some really quality players, though -- Snozberry, who plays on Beach occasionally, is really good, as is Nightcrawler.
