And weed isnt good for you..like siggarets and booz...And yes it makes u passive and u tent to be sleepy..BUT tht depends on the person smocking it..i know guys who get sleepy-aggressive-restless-funny-active etc etc even horny from smocking weed...And i know people who learn better or worse when they just smoked...

So it depends on the person smoking it.....and i know a lot more people who smoke it then u..i can safly say that...because its legal over here and exepted..

cmon man stop talking like that to ironman cause hes right , and you dont even listen to his opinion , i have never ever heard any bad effects of weed , and if does what you say ( causing people to drop outta school etc ) geez man then that guy had to be seriously depressed about something else cause you are talking about hard drugs and weed isnt a hard drug , as for the heart attack im sorry its no fun at all to lose a friend but you should know better than blame the drugs for it , something like that could always happen but if you smoke weed it would mean that you did it in combination with alcohol and/or medicines (for some illness) only then can weed have a lethal effect !!!!!!

no I wasnt talking about hard drugs..i was talking about weed. Hard drugs are a whole different story. That still doesnt mean that weed cant mess your life up in one way or another. That is my whole point. The fact is that marijuana is a drug. when any drug is being abused its bad. There are always serious effects. Those effects may not show up until long after the abuse. Another fact is that using marijuana for casual use is abusing the drug. That is last thing im going to post in this thread. I apologize for swearing at you ironman, but i was ticked off at you. I thought you responded to spectres post in a rude manner. you also disrespected me by trying to belittle me when you told me "you dont know shit". When the truth is that I do know enough pot smokers to be able to make an educated conclusion about it.

Ok everyone lets calm down.....Its sad that someone lost a friend. Whether weed was the cause or not. but some people do react differently than others to anything, food, medicine drugs, booze etc. etc. Then only thing u can do is make ur own decision on what u want to put ur body through nobody can live anyone elses life. So if u smoke weed good for u if u dont thats cool to. As for me I use too but dont anymore. Bottom line beer is just to tasty to substitute it for anything. lol. Lets just have fun on the game and not judge each other please we are all bigger people than that. Cant we all just get along.

Since this is a somewhat medically-related topic, I thought I'd throw in my $.02.
Marijuana can cause heart problems as it does cause an increase in heart rate. If one has a "bad" heart, it could cause angina or a heart attack. Tolerance to this effect does develop fairly quickly which explains why long-term smokers don't complain of this effect. Marijuana has been shown to decrease motivation, as others here have indicated. That's the scariest part of it to me; I need all the drive I can get. Testosterone levels have also been shown to decrease with long-term use. And, of course, many of the lung problems that you find with cigarettes are present with marijuana as well; though the cigs are much more addictive.
As for marijuana having medical purposes... Well, technically that is true and it makes a great excuse to legalize it. However, for every supposed medical 'benefit' that marijuana is capable of, there are numerous other medications that are much more effective.

1st statement = true, the scent made from smoking 'pot' smell awful. I call it dog shit smell. So if many smokes it in NL then combined toghether it must REALLY grosse.

2nd statement = true, I have never meet a person in my life that smoked pot regularly and wasn't a loser. So am I calling people who smoke weed losers or bums? Well yeah.

No I won't have any respect for them and for people who support them too. I am sick and tired of that fvcking smell. And why does it take forever to go away? Can't they take up liquor/beer instead? I want them to apologize to everyone for smoking weed.

Well. Sorry I got here late Guys. I think these are mainly RTCW players, some BF, but anyways heres my opinion.

In the History of the World, No One has ever died from a WEED OVERDOSE. IT IS PHYSICALLY IMPOSSIBLE. It would take 40,000 times the amount of smoke that the human lung can take in to kill you, no matter how powerfull the strain of chronic. Look at how many people die from alcohol poisoning and alcohol related accidents. That number is in the thousands. Compare that with the number of people who die from a Marijauna overdose, 0. People may have died due to complications with alcohol/medication and/or health problems that they may have had, but you are going to overdose on Asprin before you kill yourelf smoking weeed. If you want to get into facts, let me know. This has been the subject of many research papers over the years and I have stats and facts galore to back my fellow pot smokers and I. I smoke weed everyday, I'm 19 years old, and I have for about 4 years.I got a 32 on my ACT. It would have been higher (35 in Reading/Comprehension but a 14 in math!). I graduated high school with a 3.4 GPA. The other potheads that I graduated with, did almost as good. Weed is just like alcohol or any other drug, in that in can ruin your life if you LET IT. If you are responsible, you can be high all day every day and still lead a productive and lucrative life. I would like to say Hello to all my fellow potheads around the world!
