I know what your talking about Rand0m...Iv tried all of these screen brighteners with all of the Cvars to the max. And I personally think that all of it is a waste of time. I hate /r_picmip 4 it just distortes everything and makes the screen look like shit. Iv tried /r_gamma 3 and I donot see much of a difference there.

The only command that i think helps is the /r_intensity 3-5...which iv found to somewhat distort the screen like picmip but not anywhere as much. Iv also looked through all of the commands that can be changed (/pbcvarlist). And most of them are unnoticable and donot change the game much. Another two commands that i suggest though is the shadow command which gets rid of player shadows and that such. Also the command that gets rid of coronas around all light sources.

Iv also tested the show gun and no-show gun. In order to see if it helpes my accuracy and performance. After changing many of the cvars and the no show gun thing, I think that it all does pretty much nothing. I personally think that after playing with /r_picmip 4 and going back to normal default makes my playing better. Change seems to make me do better, But after playing with the same settings it just gets boring, and you begin to realize it looks like crap.

I have also tested with /cg_fov and it is the only worthwhile command...but as i said, after a while it gets old. I ussually play with /cg_fov 105, but after changing back to 90 the gun seems huge but after a while it begins to look normal. And over time when you change it back to 105 everything looks like a needle..expecially the mp40's and Thomson's. If someone that has a config that seems to work very good...please post it. Id like to see Bea$t's config...lol or militants or x-tremes, or namloots...ill post mine if some of you guyes do.

wheres everyone stand on maryjane as a hack? just curious. i know lots of you toke up before you play, which greatly increases your quality of play. i know you dont edogg, but many others do.

im being sarcastic by the way. but it seems to help many play a lot better and have a better accuracy.
