People used to do this "mangling" thing purposely, and for fun at the same time. Once the admins realized it was getting out of hand, they began to kick/ban for this. I still kick/ban for this if I find it being done intentionally. We can't rightly kick/ban someone for being the pawn of some jackass trying to make a n00b look stupid. This would make us more like abusive parents than admins attempting to make the server fair to all those who faithfully show up on our server most of the days of the week.
As admins, we can't do everything, and see every little thing that happens. That's why there is more than one admin, and why we/I rely on the regs, and the people who just come in for a good time to help me/us to catch the people we can't see ourselves.
Mangling can happen accidentally, but there are also people who may attempt to do this intentionally. To them, watch out for me, because I will kick or ban your ass if I find you doing it intentionally. To the people who happen to be on the receiving end of an intentional, or accidental mangle, I apologize in advance if anyone calls you a cheater. If any of you "get" mangeled on purpose, you will also receive a kick or a ban. Please play by the simple rules we have set in place here and you will have nothing to fear.

For something being a shrub-created mechanic, I don't see how it its kick / ban worthy.
It doesn't move any of the character's actual placement, it just appears that way.
It threw me off the first time I saw it, which was years ago. However, from dealing with it, this was how I learned the headshot is still there.
But hey, its your box, its your admin status, its why they pay you the big dollars to regulate in game mechanics.
I think B said it already though... See Above Post. ^
