I'm going on my vacation the 23'rd of this month to the ocoee river in either SE tennessee or SW south carolina. i have a friend that works up there so we get free lodging and as many free trips down the river as possible, and he's got some good hook-ups. WOOOHOOO white-water rafting fucked up, is there anything better

Destructor, I'm jealous of your connection on the Ocoee. If I was in that position I'd take time and the opportunity to improve my kayaking skills. btw - I party as much as the next guy, but have never even considered paddling with a buzz on, way too dangerous.

I can't kayak at all, I tried once but all i could do was go in circles. i'll be in a big raft with several other people so hopefully we'll be alright even if i am inebriated(sp?).
