Lil help :)
Thinking of buying a new pc and a few questions i have.
AMD64 FX-55 SD or the new dual core? pricewise im leaning towards the fx. But i dont wanna shell out 800$ for a chip and 1 year from now dula cores will run the show and all single procs will be obsolete.
Any case recomendations? Id like to paint my own but need a good foundation to start with. Need a nice removeable mobo tray and something with nice airflow. No need for fancy windows etc etc.
So far this is what im looking at :
AMD 64 fx-55 SD
Asus a8n - SLI deluxe
2 gig ram
2 x GeForce 7800 GTX 256
and a nice 22" moniter CRT ftw.
any suggestions/advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance 8)

Right, a dual core system will not boost performance of current games. Get the most powerful single core processor you can afford.
I like ASUS motherboards, and have them in all my 'puters here.
SLI is nice, but for my money a single, top line PCI Express card is fine.
I like the 2G of RAM, it might not run your games any faster, but it will make your OS smile.
