This is awesome...it says its streaming, but you can't see cars or anything, but still thsi is sweet. Looking at my hosue right now :p

It streams the textures stored on the server but not real time video. These textures are mapped on 3-d models similar to how our games work, but GE uses maps that are precise as reported by the USGS and private survey companys.

My company, and many others help provide data to these servers. Keyhole developed the engine, which is very nice but the Google version is very commercial and removed many great features that keyhole developed in their standalone products, but hey ya got to make money I guess.

I've had a Keyhole2 Acct for quite some time.. Its a nice program to have.. and its only 30 a year.. so was worth it..

yeah thats cool, kinda disturbing that I can get a good arerial view of my local military base, at least DC is somewhat covered up

Ya, pretty cool stuff. Some people on other forums found there house, did donuts in a field and posted... stuff like that.

Yup, we've come a LONG ass way, can't wait to see this stuff the standard in all urbanized transit/ personal usage.

Heh.. They could not do donuts in a field and find it on google earth. The images are static, many were taken years ago.

Its not a live feed :)

Did i mention that there from... uh... bad naughty site, that works wonder, and has sooooooooooooooooooooo many nubs and spammers. Don't know if it was hacked, but they did google earth thing, a day after the AOTS did the bid on it.


Might have been something else. Satileite,.... find where you are thingy. I'll give it a look, maybe spell out ECGN in a field when i'm booting around on a atv some time. But that will take like a week or two or three.

Try to find it. What ever it was.
