I ofcourse think OSP is more difficult than shrub. It just feels that way. I don't know exactly what it is though.
The servers were not so noob friendly is the only thing. In terms on game mechanics there is practically no difference...

Game mechanis there is a whole lot of difference...helmet doesnt protect you...Meds only get 30 or 32 ammo of the beginning, so LTs actually matter. Lots of small stuff to keep the game different, and basic. Shrub makes the game more fun for people.

The ammo is down the the server admin not the mod I have played dozens of shrub servers where you start with only one magazine.

Are you sure thats all there is to it, just the settings in what each character classes use, not the mod itself? I tired to look it up to see because I was curious ofcourse and I couldn't find anything. I think the competition is a major plus depending on your expectations of the game. The crowd that used to draw in osp-friendly individuals were usually harder to beat, more competitive than the average shrubber...haha atleast imo. Ofcourse to some that might sound ilke a complete generalisation.

I'd go along with that. OSP players, and i generalise of course, tend to be so far up their own assholes they are looking at you through their windpipe. The game is same game just that the osp leagues were more prestigious so attracted mor '1337s'. Guess what though the leagues are dying and the more they act like dicks to new( and I mean strange not n00b) players on their servers the faster they are gonna die out. You reap what you sow...

What would osp be if you didn't cry hack everytime you got CC'ed and you didn't type rolled when you killed two people in a row...takes the fun right out of it. I jsut can't stand shrub anymore because you rarely die without getting backraged, teamkilled or blown to pieces by a grenade/panz.

Yeah I have no problem with the smack talk it's just the general gang up and rage on the new guy that has ensured no one wants to play osp. It's gotten way too 'cliquey'...

LoL I don't even bother to go to osp anymore half the players I don't trust and the other half act like they are God incarnate and play like they are Trever incarnate. At least on shrub people treat in like a game not some sort of proof that their life is worthwhile...
