So far I've enjoyed every movie I've seen with The Rock in it. Not a great actor, by any stretch, but he does what he does well. (He's got more personality than some other action stars.) Didn't see him in Be Cool, though, which was a different role than his others.

From what I understand, the script really has nothing to do with the Doom series. It doesn't take place on Mars and there aren't any holes or gates to hell from which demons attack. They aren't even supposed to be demons or hellspawn, rather they're good, old-fashioned aliens. If that's all true, then it's just another sci fi action movie (which isn't necessarily a bad thing) with a Doom title, though rumor also has it that the BFG makes an appearance. I hope the other bits aren't true.

I thought it was a vallid question. It's not like Doom even had a plot it was straight carnage. There are better things to be made into films than Doom...

Well, yes I am afraid. Let's see, it was only April 25th when you posted your 4,000th post. From that time until today, you have averaged almost 12.5 posts per day. You should get your 5,000 post in six days (unless you go on a spam streak, which would make it sooner). Extending the trend, you should get your 10,000th post on August, 18, 2006.
