Harry Potter!

I should start reading them over again, i read the first to, before any knew who Harry Potter was, my mom got the books for about $5.99 hard back retail shortly after they came out. Most people don't know they weren't a big hit when they were first released. I forget a lot of peoples names, but it all comes back when you start reading the new ones.

I don't think I should let you guys know how many times I read them all...

Simply because I lost count after 10 and that was a year ago :-D I'll splurge for a week and read atleast one book everyday.

<---- 14th Grade reading level when still in 6th :-D

I just got the new book after waiting some 6 hours in a god damn line...

There is 30 chapters in the book...
its black and purple...i was gonna say what each chapter is called but it would take too long...

Im so happy its finnaly here!!!!

Whenever I read harry potter books i like to read nice and slow so that i can enjoy the moment

reading fast just spoiles the fun...

Ever notice when you read harry potter books it is like watching a movie? Thats exactly how it is to me...

I'm considering staying up all night without sleap in order to read the book :lol:

I'm still pissed because I pretty much got spoiled by some trolls on Livejournal who kept on posting: A) Who dies B) Who the Half-Blood Prince is C) Who gets married D) Who the new DADA teacher is.

Now I am upset because I found out that all of tthe spoilers were true.... Uuuugh.

My mom just went and picked it up today, she told me there was a line about 100 feet long, and they just had a huge pil of books and just handing them out.

Bret Easton Ellis is pretty original writer, but his books are so depressing. Ever read John Irving? Different, but similar in that depressing style

I'm not ashamed to admit that I read Stephen King, even though his best stuff seems to be his earlier stuff, with the exception of the 'Gunslinger' series. I loved the Dark Tower stuff, I wish HBO or someone else would think of adapting it into a long running mini-series. Nothing beats reading 'The Stand' when you're home sick with the Flu.

Anyone interested in the birth of the home computer, I STRONGLY advise you to find a book called 'Fire in the Valley' by Freiberger and Swaine. It tells the story of most of the major and minor players in the birth of the home computer, which is lot more interesting than it sounds. It really makes you wish you were there to take part in it.
