Mixed feelings, still hasn't topped 3 and 4 but it was good, talking to a friend i actually predicted the end of the book almost to a tee, except one small part.

H-bP wasn't too bad. It was cut down on size a bit which was disappointing, there could have been way more detail on many things....I won't spoil it for those who aren't finished yet hehe. Not as good as GoF or OoP, but overall I am happy with it.

Agreed, she should lengthened the time they spent in hogwarts, with more stories and things that happened. I would have also liked to see more things from the outside, once chapter two ends and it focuses on Ron,Hermoine,Harry, and Ginny the rest of the story takes place in Hogwarts except for the very short Christmas Break at the Weasleys, and of course the horcux (sp) adventure but that is only like 10 pages! Nothing more is seen of Belatrix Lestrange or any Death Eaters or Voldemort activity :/.

Edit: This also means that the last book will be exceedingly long because much is still to be done. It will have to be at least 800 pages.

Harry Potter rules, seriously. I've read all the books lots of times, except for book 6, which I got on release day.
I'm really trying not to read to fast, the first time reading a HP book is quite the adventure.
So far I'm on page 120 or so, and I like it so far, I kind of like the darkness in which it is written.

Btw, our Prime Minister (i'm Dutch) kind of looks like a dorky adult version of Harry Potter, check it out;

Snogging you mean? :P I stayed up the entire night and read. I went to sleep around 10AM when I finished :P

I still love Snape, he will redeem himself. Otherwise I thought the book was good, some parts kinda were pointless though. Can't wait for the GoF movie :)

SPOILER DONT READ unless your syribo...

I think Snape killed Dumbledore to get closer to Voldemort, knowing only Harry can actually kill him, and when Dumbledore was pleading to Snape..he was pleading for Snape to kill him.

ANOTHER SPOILER...

That sounds like that is a possibility there...with snape killing dumbledore, but I don't think that is the explination...it could of happened like this out of luck...but this is alot of speculation...for 1 thing dumbledore had not known that the horcrux was already taken...if snape was on the good side he would of fought with them...he picked his side...but then theres a possibility that snape read dumbledores mind and dumbledore meant for him to hear his thoughts...and he told him to kill him...i thought the 4th book was the best out of them all hopefully they can make the 4th movie just as good :)

Don't forget that Snape made the Unbreakable Vow and therefore had to help Malfoy.....I don't think he would have killed Dumbledore otherwise. Much as I want Snape to be evil and have Harry or Ron (how cool would that be...) cap him, I think he will ultimately help Harry somehow.....

Heh...you got a point there, Snape had no choice either he dies or dumbledore....:P
