Best Music albums of 2005 (so far)

Postby ShellShock » Fri Jul 22, 2005 1:08 am

I just purchased X&Y by Coldplay. Personaly I think these guys are the best Irish rock band to come along since U2.
So what have been your favorite albums of 2005?

Tx-Snow you must be from H-Town.:D

I'm not a big fan of Mike Jones. I just picked up Slim's album yesterday and it could be the best hip-hop album out of the South this year.

I like Coldplay's new album but I still think their debut album Parachutes is their best work. That's the only album that I don't mind playing from beginning to end without skipping any tracks.

Best new country cd - Sugarland - great cd
Pop/Rock - Simple Plan newest one is real good
Hard Rock - Linkin Park/Jay - Z kicks ass (also Seether)
Hip Hop - Ciara....

Misc, that new song by Houston is soooo addicting, I have to hear it once a day.

I will try out Mike Jones and slim...

Parrot beat me to it on Coldplay being English. I like X & Y, but I have enjoyed the White Stripes' album Get Behind Me Satan more.
