What do I need to play on Beach?

Make sure to bring lots of med packs, our 64 player beach server is intense!

What do I need to play on Beach?

Postby ShellShock » Sat Jul 23, 2005 12:54 pm

So...I'm curious to see what all the fuss about ECGN's RTCW beach server is and would like to try it out. Can someone here tell me what I would need to join in on the game? (Mods, patches, ect?)

Well, the simplicity of the game is what makes it great.

It's a FPS, not a RPG; The idea *is* to *shoot* :)

thats the point i was trying to make. its the most simplistic form of an FPS. nothing like the battlefield series, since thats what he plays.

It's not simplistic if you play as a team, not a 64 man grenade fest on the beach :P.

This is true, it can be very involved, if you want it to be.

It's just the best!

there is a certain "feel" of movement/aiming that wolf(and most quake III based games) has that I prefer over the battlefield series. Battlefield "feels" very sluggish.
