Yes, I trust the producers already well know that this should be the best movie of the entire collection of books. It does look like it will be good from what the trailer showed. But I do think that the small things that are in the books, such as the small conversations that take place between harry, ron, and hermione are what makes the books better than the movies. Personally whenever I read the books, it is exactly like watching a movie in my mind. I just finished re-reading the 1st book and it was great. Better the second time than the first. I suppose because of knowing more about the whole book, then when you first start and know nothing.

I have read through about the third chapter of the chamber of secrets and I think another reason the books are better is because you get to know harry alot more than in the movie...I mean you see everything in his eyes and the way he sees and feals about things

I just finished the chamber of secrets. I liked it just as much as I did the first time. After reading these two I don't see how in the end Harry could die to Voldemort. It just can't happen, the way things are said in the books I would be very much surprised if it happened that way. Also while reading it I noticed that Ginny is the one who ends up opening the chamber of secrets, I don't see how this is true when nowhere does it say that Ginny is a parseltongue...Does this mean she is or does it mean that riddle opened it some how. Also in this book it does comfirm that harry did get powers from voldemort that Voldemort did not mean to give him. So this could make the therie that Harry must die in order to kill Voldemort. But who knows...

You realize your the only one who psots about this anymore...
Harry Potter is done until the video comes out. Everyone read the books by now, so we have to wait again...Ginny doesnt need to be parseltounged to open the Chamber of Secrets, the big snake jaunny jaun took her to restore life to T-Rid but because Harry killed the big snake jaunny jaun he rescued Ginny from dieing and the transformation of life from Ginny to T-Rid was stopped. I can almost assure you that because voldemort split himself 6 times, he was still searching for great artifacts to put them in when he killed harry's mum and dad, and when he transferred the powers to Harry, he gave him part of his soul including his leet power and parseltounge. He'll die..and then JK Rowling will be like damn, its gonna be mad hard to write an eight book if she decides to with Harry and Voldemort dead.

Yah I do realize I was for the most part the only one posting...I don't know, I was just trying to keep it on the first page...you know like 1 post a day...at least.
Oh and who is jaunny jaun?
Well in the 6th book Dumbledore says that Riddle was looking for his 6 items...he wanted important items not just anything...He wanted 1 from each house...if I am not mistaken he found 1 for Ravenclaw/Hufflepuff (not so sure on this), and one for slytherin (the clock thing)...he wanted the gryfindor sword...his diary and he only had 5 so Dumbledore thought that he used his last on nigini his snake.... But what if he used 1/7 on the basilisk??? Because he did find out about the horcruxes while he was at hogwarts and he did open the chamber of secrets...maybe he did just that and there is less horcruxes out there to be destroyed than Harry and Dumbledore know about...Because i mean how does dumbledore or harry know for sure that what they find is the horcrux? The only reason they knew the clock that was left there in the cave was not one was because of the note that was left there. if thats right then harry and dumbledore have destroyed 1. The dairy 2. the locket and possibly 3. The basalisk...leaving 4. the ravenclaw or hufflepuff item and 5. nigini the other snake 6. Being himself and 7. Possibly being Harry himself...that makes on worst chances being taken that Harry in book 7 will have to destroy 4 more horcruxes and also kill voldemort...But what happens if he is cornered again with voldemorts death eaters watching and Harry does succeed in killing him, will the deatheaters kill him also? Or will the order of the phoenix also be there to help...There is also a possibility that Harry finds yet another weakness in voldemort, and thus kills him without exactly dueling with him...
What puzzles me more is that in Harry’s second year at the end dumbledore questions how voldemort was enchanting someone at hogwarts when he was reported to be in Nigeria’s forests...Why didn’t dumbledore talk to slughorn about the horcruxes earlier than this...he knew that the younger voldemort tom riddle had talked to Harry in the chamber of secrets...you would think he would have looked into this more...and noticed that he must begin to search for voldemort's horcruxes...Also from reading from J.K Rowlings website it says that in the chamber of secrets there is a clue to what happens next...and that the chamber of secrets and the half blood prince are closely connected...You must also look at it in J.K Rowlings stand point she must be making these books in a certain fashion so that they can be converted into a movie if this is a movie the most ideal ending would be either Harry winning against lord voldemort and them living happily ever after or Harry giving his life to save the world. In almost all movies the main character does not die in the end. I also think that Rowling will definitely try her best to surprise us and come up with an ending that none of us would of ever been able to guess.
There’s also the possibility that Rowling doesn’t end the book at year 7 and makes an 8th year that is names like Harry potter and the whatever whatever…instead of like Year 2 or Year 6 she could say Auror Year 1 or something.

He doesn't have the Gryffindor Sword or the Hufflepuff Item, or Ravenclaw Item,i get Huffle/Raven mixed up. He only for sure has, Himself, Slytherin Item, Diary and the other house item he obtained. This leaves 3 we don't even know about.
I think Neville will become an almost main character in the second half of the last book, he will have something to do with the ending. I also don't think Hogwarts will stay open or even try to open the whole year, and that all the teachers who care, such as McGonagall, Hagrid Slughorn and a few others. Then we will find that Snape, and Sirius's brother will have come up with important information, and help Harry as to the whereabouts of the last horcruxes, and what he must do.

His wand? There was a big deal made about how it was twinned with harry's. Probably not but could be...

she has already firmly stated that the 7th book would be the last... she will continue writing but the 7th will be the last harry potter book ever published by her.
and auror year 1 would make no sense.. because every aurors job revolves around one thing. (voldemort)
and either harry, voldemort or both will be killed in the 7th so there would be no point in an 8th.
lol, ive read each book 7 times and the 6th one ive read 4 times.. im what you call a harry potter encyclopedia but yet i havent posted in this thread yet.

lets keep this alive with theories!!

Priceless...if it was true. Thered be like 10 million people that would go into an angry chaos demanding a real ending.

I've always hoped that a series would end that way just so people would go nuts, and just keep saying "what the fuck?!". Like, if the last matrix had ended with neo waking up hungover in his apartment and realizing it was just a dream, I wouldve payed to have that for an ending. All those matrix fans wouldve been pissed, realizing they wasted money on their sun glasses and trench coats.
