Technical Nooby Question
My darn Lag-o-meter is doing that shit still...i have never fixed it since the first time i've asked. I'm hoping that maybe this time it can be answered. Oh, I guess I should explain more
! Anyways, my lag-o-meter like skips a beat. Talking about bitse, its like it has a blank in the bottom line (green one) and it sends my FPS down to like 50-75 FPS (i have a 125 constant FPS). But the odd thing is..it's kindof like a connection interruption...i like loss connection for like a second or two and it messes up my dog fights.
Any explaination? Every help is appreciated.

Are you on a wireless?
Getting your FPS botched down to 50-75 isn't anything to worry about being how your eye can't see more than 28 FPS.
It could be a mix of things... lately the server has been running like ... well, dogshit. And it could be traffic on your end, pretty much all the unknowns...
Might contact your ISP and ask why you might be getting 'breaks' on the line when you play. If your on wireless, go wired and see if that offers a solution.
good luck.

Well Person it does more than goes down in FPS's. It's like it pauses the game...like a connection interruption, it's like im not there for like a second or two and it can be annoying at times. So far i've reformatted my computer and have installed nothing else but Wolf and the problem still remains. I've also talked to a guy from my ISP (Charter Comm.) and he has no clue what it could be. My service is good...it's just the break in my line, like u see over there on my avatar.
I'm just putting up it now a days like i have for the past few months.

Jono, try this program. I have not used this version but I'm pretty sure I used a version of it in the past. Let it run and it will build a picture for you to figure out what the problem hops are for you. Good luck.

Wow man, that's horrid.
It sounds like a networking issue.
Especially after you have reformatted your box.
Has there been any construction, power outage, wrath of mother nature in your area (apt, house, subdivision) ?
Or has this been a reoccuring conflict on the line ?
Perhaps a new nic cable? Different cable / dsl modem? Short of getting a new ISP or moving, those are about the only realistic solutions I can think of.
Funny how a lot of people I've met playing this game always have some unique annoyance. While I'm in this game, a certain combination of keys pressed, activates an alert on the internal speaker of my computer rendering my character immobile, until I release every key from being pressed. I shut down the sticky keys, on XP but to no fix. Odd how it doesn't happen on any other system i've played on, or any other game since I use nav. keys for every FPS, or other game i've played. Just Wolf. but whatever.
Hope you can get that shit worked out man.

You're welcome. That's a great little utility.
As far as fixing your problem goes... Where is it showing packet loss? From your PC to the first hop? Or is it later on in the path? If it is your first hop (or 2 if you have your own router between you and your provider) I would check all of your cables. Pull them out, blow them off and try again. I've had stray hair in the ethernet socket cause packet loss before.
I'll check this thread again to see your reply.
Edit: BTW, I assumed you were wired. If you're wireless I suppose it could be caused by interference from sources like phones and microwave ovens depending on the frequency your wireless (if you have one) is on. You never did answer the question of what type of connection you have that I read.

Yes i'm wired. It's the later part of my line around the 6th hop I think. I've closed a lot of my programs and that helped a little bit of my ping issue. But the break in the line is still a problem, I have no clue how to fix this. I did a "netstat -an" in command prompt to see how many open lines I have and I have like 7/8 running while playing wolf. They say to have no more than 5 running but I think the rest is from MS XP and has to be up so I dont know. If I find the answer i'll be more than glad to post it here. I can't believe no one else has this problem. Oh and I dont live in any place that does construction, no power outages have been around for like 3-4 months, and no mother nature issues.
And also I used to have the same problem with Sticky key as you do. I used the number pad and for some reason it only does it for the "Num Lock" key. If I hold down num lock too long it activates sticky key and like you said before, even if you click cancel it doesn't change anything. I've just learned not to hold down Num Lock so long and that helps a lot. Sticky Key program is a bitch, I hate it. I mean if you are type like an essay or some shit and you're thinking and hold down a key for too long it activates that shit. And then you have a problem with Shift and Cap Locks. I usually have to save my progress and reboot the damn system. FU Sticky KEYS!!!!
