Hah, I have you all beat. Hulk Hogan (Terry Bolea) is my next door neighbor.
Ha, I'll top that, Bob "Gilligan" Denver is one of my neighbors. Does that top "Hulk" or not?

Okay maybe you are still on top.

Learn some thing new every day, I never knew Gilligan
lived in our part of the world.
Myself I watched a lot more "Gilligan" than Hulk.
So yeah, in my book that tops "Hulk"

Not much in the way of fame down this way....They filmed the movie Mystic pizza here several years ago. I got to see all the main actors and actresses up close (there is a picture of all of them including Julia Roberts on the cover of the VHS tape box, that has them all in a Porsche. The photographer taking the picture had to wait for me to drive by before he took the pic, it was cool that pic was used as cover art)....One day as Annabeth Gish and Lili Taylor ( http://us.imdb.com/name/nm0000666/ )were walking down the sidewalk, Lili slipped on the ice and fell, I helped her up...Not much, but hey it was cool...There are tons of famous people in this area all the time now, but I don't go out that much so I never see them....They all come here for the Casinos

Well let me see. I have met and talked to Charlie Sheen. Even got to see his credit card. I have met and talked to Shannon Doherty and her mother. Yes in real life she is a bitch and her mother is full of it. I met Jackie Jackson of the Jackson 5. The oldest brother. He was really cool. I have met Lupeeta. Remember the maid from the Goonies. She is my cousins god-mother. She is also full of it. I was on the news once for Star Wars. Asked them not to put me on camera. I was cutting school.
THey did it anyway.

I've seen George Strait's truck pulling up to his driveway gate when I used to live in San Antonio. My friends and I were driving around a rich neighborhood near Six Flags lookin for celebrities.
When I was in elementary and middle school, players from the Spurs would always come by and do motivational talks. The last year I saw them up close like that was the year they drafted Tim Duncan.

The movie Ironweed (1987?) was filmed near where I live. Jack Nicholson and Meryl Streep were going to a local Japanese restaurant for lunch. The owner asked them if it was okay if he could ask some friends of his to come by and meet them. They both were fine with that. The owner, who was a good friend of my mother's, called to see if we'd like to come down for lunch. At that precise time, my folks and I were outside doing yardwork and were too pooped out to bother answering the phone. So, needless to say, we never went and we never got to have lunch with those two.
Nancy Kerrigan (remember the Tanya Harding, ice skating, knee bashing incident?) was in Disney World not long after that whole knee thing happened. My brother and I caught her glaring at us and his video camera. Her "security entourage" blocked us out. We even had to wait an extra half hour for the animation studios tour at Disney/MGM for her to go through it without any of the public. Uhm... you're really not that much of a celebrity, Nancy. Blow me.
Before the Las Vegas show called EFX, David Cassidy was on the same flight as my brother and I. He was across from us and about two rows up. My brother asked the stewardess if it was really him and she said yes. She said he asked them not to tell anyone who he was and that's why he was in disguise. It was quite possibly the worst disguise I've ever seen as it only drew attention to himself: eye patch and a cape (or something that looked a lot like a cape anyways). He may as well have been standing up with lights on him singing "I think I love you" at the front of the plane with that sorry excuse for a "disguise." And why he didn't travel 1st Class is beyond me.
