Incorrect, it is adult. When you include kids it is around 24.5%.

in general.. it is just harder for adults to keep thier weight down then it is for kids. that's just the way it is. the metabolism slows down with age, etc.
also, your way of life changes with responsibilities. No longer can you spend all day running around the playground. Unless you have a labor intensive job, most adults sit on thier ass 9 hours a day.
