U think thats loud try standing under a hovering Harrier, Or behind a Eurofighter. I,ve stood behind most aircraft when they accelerate, and the Eurofighter and and harrier (when hovering) are the loudest.

Years ago the Navy's Blue Angel Team were at the local air show. At the time I was working at GE. In the days before the actual airshow, they like to practice in and around the area they are to do the show. The security guard of our building was letting some of the employees go on the roof to watch them practice. The Angels were using the GE "meatball" logo (giant sized GE logo on top of one of the buildings) as a landmark to fly towards and around. They weren't exactly at eye level, but damn close enough. Felt like they were close enough to reach out and touch... awesome.

At the beginning in of the summer the water heater shit the bed so it had to be replaced. No one told me the night before the guys would be here the next day to take the old one out and replace it with a new one. It was around 11 and I was still sleeping when they began cutting the main pipe on the old heater to take it out. This began shaking the entire house and everything in it. It also made one of loudest noises I've ever heard. I can usually sleep threw anything, like fire trucks in front of my house and such. I jumped out of bed almost shitting my pants thinking we were at war or something. Ran downstairs with the look of a deer in head lights in boxers and t-shirt to realize they were only doing work. WTF! haha
